Avidity Capital Inc. (“Avidity,” “we”) operates the Avidity Journey app for its advisory clients. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
Information we collect
Account and contact details (name, email, mobile number), the financial and planning information you provide or connect (income, balances, goals), and, where you choose to link accounts, read-only balance and holdings data via our data provider (Plaid). We collect only what’s needed to provide financial-planning services.
How we use it
To build and maintain your financial plan, to provide advisory services through your assigned fiduciary adviser, to communicate with you about your account and service, and to meet our legal and regulatory recordkeeping obligations as a registered investment adviser.
Text messaging & mobile information
If you opt in to text messages, we use your mobile number only to send the service and account notifications described in our SMS Terms. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties for marketing under any circumstances.
How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted with per-user database isolation, and connected-account tokens are additionally encrypted at the application layer. We share data with service providers (e.g., hosting, our bank-linking provider) only as needed to operate the service, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
